I will cover prices for monthly and yearly memberships. What do I like about this 24-hour sports club, and what do I not like about Peak Sports Club?
Finally, give my final opinion on whether my investment was worth the money so you can make an educated decision if you are thinking of joining a higher-end sports club or gym in the Rockford, IL area that is open 24/7 besides Christmas and Christmas eve.
Here is my Peak Sports Club membership card so you know I am actually a paying member of Peak Sports Club.
Alright lets dive into my review of the Peak Sports Club and get my thoughts to see if it a good fit for you!
List Of Things I Like About The Peak Sports Club Rockford IL -Technically Loves Park Location
- The gym is gorgeous and very well-kept, which is a big plus!
- Peak Sports Club is huge! Pools, water slides, vending machines, rock climbing, basketball courts, and a huge outside area are just a few of the perks of being a member of the Peak Sports Club in Rockford, IL.
- Babysitting area, lounge area, steam room, sauna, tanning beds, and red light therapy to boot.
- Optional: Upstairs workout area just for the ladies, which is good for women who want their privacy.
- Top-notch equipment: Especially in the cardio area, treadmills, for example, have interactive screens when you are walking or running that simulates you walking through different terrain like cities, mountains, hills, etc… Which I find pretty cool when I am on the treadmill. You can tell the cardio equipment is high-end, and there are a lot of options to choose from.
- Did I say sauna and steam rooms in the men’s and women’s locker room, which was one of the main reasons I joined:) I love a steam room and sauna.
- Large weight training area with plenty of machines and free weights to quickly get you looking fit or buff.
- Nice TVs you can watch in the cardio area when you get bored looking at the treadmill or elliptical screen;)
- Beautiful pool area with slides and scenery that looks like you are at a resort. If you are a parent whose kids like swimming, this is a big plus!
- Pilates, Tae Kwon Do classes, spin, and Les Mills classes.
- Access to all locations as well as Wisconsin locations if you are in Wisconsin from time to time.
- Locker room areas are clean and well-kept, and as I said previously, there is a sauna and steam room in both the ladies’ and men’s locker rooms, so you can relax in one of the two or both after a long workout.
List Of Things I Do Not Like About The Peak Sports Club Loves Park, IL Location
- The staff is somewhat unfriendly. There are a few exceptions on the night shift. I have noticed most of the front desk staff do not say hi or bye when you are entering or leaving the Peak Sports Club, which I find unprofessional. It’s just good customer service to be friendly to paying customers, and it is the staff’s job to provide that customer service, not the members.
- Peak Sports Club can be very busy, especially midday, so it can be harder to find the equipment that you want to use to get your workout in consistently. I do three sets on a machine I need when it opens up during peak times, and then I will work a different body part and return to the previous workout machine I was using to compensate for busy periods. My Point: Plan accordingly.
How Much Does Peak Sports Club In Loves Park IL Cost To Be A Member? Monthly and Yearly Costs?
I happened to get on the monthly plan a month or two before they decide to hike up the prices a bit. They have not done so yet but I heard it is coming.
I am paying $64 per month which is reasonable for all the amenities this sports club provides and the high-end feel of the club.
If I wanted to be cheap I would just go to Planet Fitness and pay $10 p/month but, the extra money is well worth it because Peak Sports Club has a lot better equipment and amenities than Planet Fitness, which is a solid gym for people on a budget.
Like the old saying goes you get what you pay for and the Peak Sports Club in Loves Park Illinois is worth the investment.
Here are the prices for Peak Sports Club in Loves Park Illinois for single members, and family members including the one time down payment for monthly plans.
You will aso have the option to pay for the full year in advance which was $700 or $800 yearly I am not sure of the exact number thus is a rough estimate but it was cheaper than the monthly plans if you decide to go that route.
Just ask one of the Peak Fitness Sports Club employees about that option if you decide to join as a member.
My Final Review Of The Peak Sports Club Rockford IL – Loves Park IL Location: Is It Worth The Extra Money To Be A Member?
Peak Sports Club Rockford IL Review: Yep, it is my finally review of this 24/7 sports club that feels more like a vacation than a gym.
Which is a good thing btw.
Am I glad I joined? Yes, I am very glad I joined this sports club for $64 per month because of all the high scale amenities it provides for paying members.
This is a really nice gym and it is definitely the best gym in the Rockford, IL area by far that is open 24/7.
If you can afford $64 per month and you like great scenery and workout equipment this gym has all you could want and more in the Rockford area.
I had previously been a paying member at Planet Fitness and Anytime Fitness and they are solid gyms but Peak Sports Club is light years better than these two.
Those 2 are decent gyms but not in the ball park of the Peak Sports Club that is all I am saying.
It all depends on what you are looking for and your personal budget.
If you want a high end 24/7 gym with all the bells and whistles this is the best gym Rockford has to offer.
If you are looking to lose weight, build muscle, or generally just get fit this is a great option.
Go signup if you can afford it it is worth the investment.
After all there is nothing more important than your health.
