2014-2015 Hostgator Webhosting Review Find Out What To Expect? Should You Buy Hostgator Webhosting? Read My Full Review Below.
I have been a Hostgator webhosting customer for over 6years now . This blog is hosted with Hostgator, and has a 99.9% uptime 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
In those 6 plus years of being a customer, I honestly have never ran into any problems as far as my hosting goes for more than a few hours, and this was my fault.
I had too many plugins running on my blog, and basically the load to their servers was too high OOPS! Totally my fault.
( Which I fixed in a few hours, and I was back in business after talking to a helpful Hostgator support staff member )
I am a plugin junkie, I am cutting down now so I do not run into that problem again lol ..
Other than that I have not ran into any other issues. My blog is always up and running, and making me money even while I sleep, thanks to Hostgator.
This is why going with a major webhosting provider, that has millions of customers, is a major advantage if you are going to be blogging for money, or you are starting a website based around your business, to give your business more of an online presence.
( Hostgator is a well established webhosting company with thousands of employees available to assist you by phone 24 hours a day 7 days a week )
My point? Hostgator will be around for the long haul, so you do not have to worry about them going out of business, and taking your website with them any time soon.
Transferring a website to a new webhost can be a pain in the butt!
So picking the right webhosting provider your first time around can save you a lot of heartache now, and into the future.
What Keeps Me A Happy Hostgator Customer?
I have tried 4 other webhosting providers. I won’t mention no names. And none of them could compare as far as the control panel, website uptime, Hostgator’s cheap webhosting costs that does not skimp on the quality, and the customer service is excellent.
A few of my prior webhosting providers that I tried a while back had horrible customer service. The customer service team was based out of India to cut down on the costs
( not a good business practice for U.S. based companies ).
No offense, but I cannot understand what a lot of Indian customer service reps are saying.
I am more confused after talking to them then before I called.
lol again no offense to Indian people but the language barrier can be a problem.
Especially when talking about a technical issue that would go on with a blog, or website.
With Hostgator the customer service team, and Their headquarters is located in good old Houston Texas.
The customer service reps speak perfect English, and are extremely knowledgeable, and helpful
( This is why I continue to be a happy customer to this day )
One great benefit that I enjoy to this day is I can call Hostgator anytime if I run into a problem with my blog such as a bad plugin that was loaded through WordPress and my site is down as a result.
No problem, I will call Hostgator tell them my domain name https://jaysonlinereviews.com etc, and they will troubleshoot the problem right there on the phone with you free of charge… Problem solved!
Hostgator control panel – I love their control panel it tells you everything.
From how many unique visitors your website is getting, daily visitors, traffic from the search engines, what countries your hits are coming from, what websites are sending you traffic, visitor duration, bounce rate, operating systems, browsers, and what search phrases visitors are finding your new website, or blog from.
Just to name a few features found inside the control panel when you sign up.
( You also will get unlimited email addresses that you can make for your website so your clients have a way to contact you, and vice versa. )
Why Start A Self Hosted WordPress Blog With Hostgator?
I wrote a big blog post on the benefits of hosting your own blog with Hostgator or any other webhost you may decide to go with over free blogger blogs.
Let me briefly clarify blogger has it’s uses but they are free for a reason you do not own them, or control them Google does!
And they can delete your blog for any reason if you violate any of their terms of service.
With your own self hosted WordPress blog hosted with Hostgator you do not have to worry about any of that nonsense your building a real legitimate online business by buying a domain name and having a multi – million dollar company host it for you.
You will sleep a lot better at night let me tell you knowing your blog is in great hands.
I am going to stop talking as you can see I am a very happy customer of Hostgator, and I will continue to be for many years to come.
After all this is why I wrote this honest review of Hostgator for you from one current customer, too one future customer.
